Math Financial Class

These functions perform financial calculations.

This Class contains the following financial functions:
Annuity (savings and loan) Calculations: FutureValue, PresentValue, Payment, PaymentType, NumberPeriods, InterestRate, PrincipalPayment, InterestPayment, CumulativePrincipalPayment, and CumulativeInterestPayment.
Investment (rate of return and present value) Calculations: InternalRateOfReturn, ModifiedInternalRateOfReturn, UnevenInternalRateOfReturn, XIRR, NetPresentValue, and UnevenNetPresentValue.
Profit Calculations: GrossProfitCalc, GrossProfitMarginCalc, and NetProfitCalc.
Interest Rate Calculations: Effect, Nominal, and FutureValueSchedule.
Depreciation Calculations: StraightLineDepreciation, SumOfYearsDigitsDepreciation, DecliningBalanceDepreciation, DoubleDecliningBalanceDepreciation, and VariableDecliningBalanceDepreciation.
Coupon Date Calculations: Days360, DaysBetweenDates, PreviousCouponDate, NextCouponDate, CouponDaysBeforeSettlement, CouponDaysAfterSettlement, CouponDays, and CouponCount.

Examples: All examples use dates and numeric amounts that are formatted as is customary in the United States. For example, all dates are in the format Month/Day/Year, and all numeric amounts use "," as the thousands separator and "." as the decimal point.
v2.0 Additions: Added several new financial functions to this Class. The new financial functions are based upon those provided by Microsoft Excel. In most cases, they return the exact same values as those functions provided by Excel. In some cases, the functions provided by Entisoft Tools are more accurate, expecially the functions that use successive approximations to arrive at the result.
Note: The following Excel financial functions not yet available within Entisoft Tools: ACCRINT, ACCRINTM, DISC, DURATION, INTRATE, MDURATION, ODDFPRICE, ODDFYIELD, ODDLPRICE, ODDLYIELD, PRICE, PRICEDISC, PRICEMAT, RECEIVED, TBILLEQ, TBILLPRICE, TBILLYIELD, YIELD, YIELDDISC, YIELDMAT
